DESCRIPTION:The Atascadero Community Band is back at it with a lighthearted\, whimsically-themed concert titled “The I’s Have It?” This concert highlights the Letter I\, the word “neigh”…(think neighbor and the sounds horses make)\, and we hope it tickles your funny bone! This theme gives the band the opportunity to play several pieces we’ve yet to perform\, and we are excited to give them all a try!  \n\n\n\nOur very own beloved musicians and conductors\, Carol Kouklis and Joe Herzog\, will be sharing the podium for this very special concert\, and we hope. you can join us. Mark your calendars for March 1st\, and let’s begin 2026 with songs like “I Believe I Can Fly”\, Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood\, and I Heard it Through the Grapevine!

DESCRIPTION:Celebrate America in sound with the Atascadero Community Band’s next free concert\, “Across America: Our Country in Music.” This special performance continues the band’s 40th anniversary season while honoring the 250th anniversary of the United States. \n\n\n\nAudiences will journey coast to coast through a vibrant program featuring patriotic favorites like America the Beautiful and The Star-Spangled Banner\, lively marches\, and musical portraits of our nation’s history and landscapes—from Grand Canyon Suite to Kentucky 1800 and River Songs of the South. Along the way\, you’ll hear blues\, folk\, and classic American dance styles that capture the spirit and diversity of our country. \n\n\n\nA special highlight of the evening will be the premiere of Atascadero March\, a rediscovered treasure found in the archives of the Atascadero Historical Society. Originally written as a piano piece by Atascadero resident Arretta Urey and newly arranged for  concert band by one of our own members\, this piece honors the unique musical heritage of our hometown. \n\n\n\nJoin us for an uplifting evening of music celebrating the sounds\, stories\, and spirit of America!

DESCRIPTION:Join us for the fourth year to celebrate the end to our AMAZING summer concert series with our Ensembles concert! Small groups from our talented Atascadero Community band get together for their very own special performance. Bring your blankets\, lawn chairs\, snacks and loved ones for an incredible evening of music to round out our summer performances. As always\, our concerts are free but donations are greatly appreciated. We always appreciate your attendance and support for all that this band gets to do. Thank you and we will see you at the Lake.
