SUMMARY:Summer Evening Concerts at the Lake
DESCRIPTION:We have your Tuesday evenings covered for the summer! As the weather gets warmer\, ACB heads outdoors. Each Tuesday night\, from approximately June through August\, you can find the Atascadero Community Band at the Atascadero Lake Park Bandstand. Our summer evening concerts are completely different from the indoor concerts throughout the year. For one\, we play a variety of tunes that will absolutely be familiar to you – anything from current movie soundtracks to songs you grew up with will be on our set lists. Each week or so\, we welcome visiting conductors from the surrounding area to the podium – and it is always fun to see how different conductors work with the band and choose the music for the evening. Lastly\, these concerts are casual\, friendly and fun! Bring your blankets\, chairs\, snacks and whatever beverages you choose and enjoy our wonderful Atascadero summer evenings with us!  Our final concert of the summer season is a very special finale\, starring some of our very own smaller “Ensembles” (small groups) within the band.
